About me

My name is Kayla and I am a British Columbia based artist. I work with oils, acrylics, and I design tattoos.

The inspiration for my oil paintings comes form the mountains and wildlife around me. Living near Vancouver means lots of rain. Most people hate the rain but I find it soothing. My forests are meant to reflect that feeling.

As for my black and white pieces, I enjoy the challenge of trying to make each piece as realistic as possible.

I am thankful to have the opportunity to paint as I am rather fond of it.
